Job summary

Walbridge seeks an experienced Project Director to provide administrative and technical direction for large-scale construction initiatives. You will lead client interfacing, scoping, estimating, scheduling, procurement, and safety oversight to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include guiding on-site teams, managing project logs, and reporting to regional management. A four-year construction management/engineering degree and a minimum of 10 years in commercial construction are

Qualifications

4 year construction management/engineering degree or equivalent professional training and experience.
Extensive (minimum 10 years) experience in commercial construction activities.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
Must understand corporate practices and their impact on projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is built to design, budget and schedule.
Interface with client representatives, A/E, subcontractors and end users; manage on-site activities.
Establish objectives, procedures and performance standards for project teams.
Monitor progress and control costs; authorize purchase requisitions and change requests.
Maintain project logs, support safety programs, and coordinate planning and scheduling functions.
Ensure policies and standards are followed and provide leadership to regional teams.
