Job summary

Walbridge seeks an experienced construction project leader to provide overall administrative and technical direction for large-scale projects. You will interface with clients, manage scoping, estimating, scheduling, procurement, construction and safety oversight, and monitor costs and progress.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in commercial construction, strong leadership, and the ability to guide subordinate managers and on-site superintendents to achieve project objectives while

Qualifications

• 4 year construction management /engineering degree or equivalent professional training and experience.
• Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities.
• Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Monitor/control construction through on-site supervision to ensure project on schedule and within budget; manage change requests.
