Job summary

Linbeck Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee mid-size construction projects valued between $5M and $25M. You will guide scheduling, cost control, and change management to maximize safety, quality, productivity, and client satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business and at least 5 years of GC experience, with strong leadership and customer engagement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize master scheduling software to develop and maintain GMP, baseline and continuously updated project schedule.
• Manage the Project Financial Report (PFR) to project costs and savings.
• Prepare the monthly Construction Financial Report (CFR) to show project financial status and margins.
• Plan for and manage Non-Billable Costs to meet margin goals.
• Use Job Dashboard and QBR Capsheet for reporting and status updates.
• Create and manage a Work Plan for Confidential Payroll employees and project cost projections.
• Evaluate subcontractor pay applications by reviewing percent complete and field conditions.
• Manage subcontractor insurance compliance and related processes.
• Manage Self-Perform financials to meet project margins including vendor contracts and changes.
• Implement QA/QC Program for project success including A3s and Pre-Install Meetings.
• Handle Owner Change Orders and Subcontractor Change Orders with proper contract language.
• Manage change management to keep financials clear across PFR and Owner SOV.
• Manage subcontractor buyout and reconciliation throughout the project.
