Job Description

The Technical Facilities Lead Project Manager is responsible for the comprehensive execution of projects from concept through handover, including front-end planning, scope definition, budget development, and execution strategy. The role involves leading projects primarily via an EPC delivery model, requiring experience with all delivery models, and managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects with strong leadership and social skills.

The role supports project delivery to meet company objectives through successful project management and relationship building, balancing scope, time, cost, and quality.

Essential Job Functions
Project / Practice Management
  • Manage projects with a full understanding of scope, organize work, set priorities, and allocate resources.
  • Follow a gated process utilizing industry best practices to improve safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Engage and utilize teams effectively and resolve unexpected problems.
The Company's Internal Management
  • Build knowledge of the company's business and objectives to anticipate internal needs.
  • Manage daily interactions to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Communicate project status weekly, identify issues, and implement mitigation measures.
Project Controls Management
  • Develop accurate project budgets and schedules, analyze risks, and manage change impacts.
  • Maintain financial discipline and develop detailed project schedules for monitoring and forecasting.
Leadership
  • Demonstrate integrity, influence, and leadership to inspire teams.
  • Empower, mentor, and create accountability within teams.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum five years of industrial process design experience, with a broad technical understanding across disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and project management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, with at least 15 years of progressive project management experience.
  • Experience managing EPC projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Membership in relevant construction management organizations is preferred.
