Position Overview

The company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager or Associate Project Manager to join their dynamic real estate team in Sheffield. As a key team member, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing complex construction projects from inception to completion. Candidates should have experience managing large-scale construction projects and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale construction projects, ensuring successful delivery within time, budget, and quality parameters.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to meet project objectives.
4. Implement and oversee effective project governance, processes, and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
6. Monitor project finances and manage change control processes.
7. Facilitate clear communication among team members and stakeholders through meetings and reports.
8. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
9. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
10. Mentor and guide junior project managers to support their professional development.

Candidate Profile

Ideally, you are currently working for another consultancy and hold a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. You should have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification is considered a plus.
