Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Denver, CO to lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects and to oversee a team of project engineers and assistants, coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders on site.

Responsibilities include driving safety, quality, and schedule performance, managing procurement and project finances, and ensuring adherence to project scope and client expectations. Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience required.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
• OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of construction project individuals by establishing expectations, supporting individualized development plans, facilitating training opportunities, and reinforcing continuous skill growth to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development.
• Oversees end-to-end project execution by collaborating with project teams, monitoring progress, and addressing escalated, complex issues to ensure timely completion, while maintaining consistent field presence and safety program participation.
• Oversees procurement of project-related materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and alignment with work sequences.
• Communicates project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders with advanced project management knowledge.
• Evaluates project performance and implements corrective actions.
• Reviews comprehensive project documentation for compliance and future reference.
• Partners with the Superintendent to lead implementation of quality and safety programs and maintain an incident-free work environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience
