Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Project Manager 2 to lead moderately complex construction projects, directing operations and administration in alignment with JE Dunn's strategy and values.

You will oversee safety culture, preconstruction activities, subcontractor management, scheduling, budgeting and client coordination. This role requires 7+ years of construction management and a Bachelor’s in CM/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years construction management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, scheduling, risk, and budgeting.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of safety culture and risk management.
• Manage preconstruction activities including takeoff, scope, bid package.
• Coordinate subcontracts, pricing, and change requests.
• Develop and update project schedules and budgets.
• Prepare monthly cost/margin forecasts and progress meetings.
• Interface with owner, architect, and subcontractors.
• Oversee pay applications and closeout processes.
