Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager on-site in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. The role leads large, complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, procurement, and contract administration, collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, while upholding

Qualifications

• 6+ years proven track record of assuring client satisfaction.
• 6+ years track record of delivering on-time projects.
• 6+ years of experience maintaining or exceeding planned profit targets for projects.
• 6+ years creating and maintaining a culture of safety.
• 6+ years experience developing a culture of quality assurance and control.
• 6+ years managing and developing succesful teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing senior-level leadership, direction, and oversight for large, complex construction projects or multiple concurrent assignments.
• Leading major project management functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, subcontract administration, procurement, document management, change management, risk identification, issue resolution, and performance reporting.
• Monitoring the financial health of the project, managing forecasts and cost exposure, supporting fee protection, reviewing contract obligations, and ensuring decisions consider project risk and business impact.
• Maintaining schedule performance by coordinating with field leadership and trade partners on procurement timelines, sequencing, and labor coordination.
• Building and maintaining trust with clients and project partners through consistent communication, professionalism, transparency, and responsiveness.
