Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking a Project Engineer to work on-site in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. The role focuses on contract setup, project administration, and field coordination to ensure successful delivery of construction projects.

The position requires 1+ year(s) of experience with RFIs, plans, submittals, and close-out, plus a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (or 8 years of equivalent experience).

Qualifications

• 1+ years creating documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence.
• 1+ years reading construction plans and specs and outlining submission requirements.
• 1+ years experience with project close-out.
• Bachelor’s degree or 8 years equivalent experience in CM/Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist with contract setup, project administration, and field coordination.
• Maintain project data in PMIS and manage bid packages, submittals, and RFIs.
• Support permit processes and maintain accurate project documentation throughout the life of the project.
• On-site involvement to monitor activities, inspect deliveries, and coordinate among team, client, and trades.
