Job summary

Skanska is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead on-site project coordination in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. You will work with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in RFIs/submittals and plans review, 2+ years in subcontract scopes, and a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• 3+ years creating documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence on contract notification provisions.
• 3+ years reading and understanding construction plans and technical specs; outline submission requirements and ensure submittals and shop drawings are approved.
• 2+ years preparing subcontract scopes and contracts.
• 2+ years experience with project close out.
• 1+ years working with cost control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead project documentation, submittals, RFIs, procurement tracking, and change management support.
• Coordinate meetings and project reporting with project managers, superintendents, clients, and design teams.
• Support planning, scheduling, cost control, and issue resolution to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery.
