Job summary

Skanska in the Tri-Cities area of Washington is seeking a dynamic on-site Superintendent 1 (Area) to lead field operations, ensure safety, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role involves supervising field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents, coordinating with subcontractors and design teams, and upholding Skanska’s safety and quality standards across diverse project scopes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven construction experience.
• 2+ years as Safety and QAQC Cultural Champion.
• 2+ years leading smaller fit-out projects or an area of a larger building project.
• 2+ years experience with change orders and ticket management.
• 2+ years experience with subcontractor oversight.
• 2+ years experience with schedule updates and look ahead schedules.
• 2+ years experience with reading and delivering on plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees field operations in assigned areas to ensure safety, timeliness, profitability, and ethical implementation.
• Directly supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents.
