Job summary

Cityscape Recruitment USA is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Connecticut construction projects with a strong focus on leadership across preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee project teams, budgets, and client relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of PM experience on large builds, with expertise in contracts, cost control, and risk management. DOE-driven compensation reflects project complexity and Northeast opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction project management experience.
• Proven experience leading large or complex construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, specifications, means and methods, and project controls.
• Demonstrated experience with project financial management and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall execution of complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers and project support staff.
• Maintain responsibility for project financial performance, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
• Establish and maintain project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and manage contracts, subcontractor agreements, scopes of work, change orders, and payment applications.
• Oversee project procurement and subcontractor buyout.
• Coordinate project execution with field leadership and Superintendents.
• Develop and monitor critical-path schedules and identify schedule risks.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates to senior leadership and clients.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change management, claims, and other project documentation.
• Participate in preconstruction activities including estimating, budgeting, constructability reviews, value engineering, logistics, and phasing.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety requirements, and company standards.
• Promote Lean construction practices and continuous improvement.
• Support business development and client relationship initiatives.
