Job summary

Axxys Construction in the USA and Canada is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-rise and retail projects from conception to delivery. You will coordinate kick-offs, manage deadlines, budgets, and safety, and serve as the main liaison among clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

The role requires at least 10 years of PM experience, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in high rise/retail construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, PM, or related field.
• Strong organizational, time-management and multitasking skills.
• Proficient with MS Project and Procore; MS Office suite.
• Willingness to work on-site at offices and construction sites across Canada and the USA.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining quality and safety.
• Coordinate the Project Kick-Off with all parties.
• Renegotiate deadlines to realistic targets.
• Identify site superintendent in collaboration with PM.
• Negotiate and award contracts to subcontractors.
• Provide construction plans to subcontractors.
• Order materials and issue purchase orders.
• Lead regular progress meetings to track milestones.
• Monitor costs and budget variances.
• Ensure safety and quality on site.
