Job summary

Axxys Construction is seeking a dynamic Construction Superintendent to lead on-site activities across projects in the USA/Canada. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage safety and quality, and maintain documentation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years in construction, proficiency in blueprint reading and MS Office, and a valid driver's license. A degree in building technology is a plus; MS Office and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, techniques and safety.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client/subcontractor relations.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities per plans and safety regulations.
• Lead a team of subcontractors and ensure effective communication among parties.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to meet project objectives.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, material logs, and safety records.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services for timely delivery.
• Mentor and support construction team to foster a productive work environment.
• Ensure work aligns with project schedules and latest plans; report progress.
