Job summary

PM Design, Inc. seeks a Project Manager for Architecture and Engineering Commercial & Retail to oversee planning, execution, and delivery of complex national projects.

You will coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to meet scope, budget, and timelines, serving as the main contact and guiding teams through design challenges. Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in architecture, 10+ years of experience, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as an architect; 15 years preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership and client interaction experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Thorough knowledge of architectural principles and practices.
• Commitment to quality across all phases of project development.
• Experience with retail and commercial architectural projects - grocery stores, QSR, warehouse, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects at various stages, establishing priorities and ensuring compliance with design standards and building regulations.
• Oversee contract documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Administer contracts, negotiate fees, monitor budgets and billings, and prepare change orders and additional service requests.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of technical documents throughout project phases.
• Resolve complex technical and design issues, providing guidance and training to team members.
• Supervise and mentor staff.
