Job summary

Haskell seeks a Senior Project Manager in Jacksonville, FL to lead project teams and ensure delivery of large, complex projects on time and within budget. You will oversee safety, quality, scheduling and risk management while coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

You will mentor project managers, drive procurement, cost control and change management, and align projects with company values and strategic objectives. Travel may be required to support multi-site initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in construction, design or management.
• Expertise in managing resources, including budgets, schedules and materials.
• Knowledge of estimating, construction methods, engineering, equipment and technology.
• Excellent understanding of safety procedures.
• Excellent organizational, supervisory, communication, collaboration and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel per project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Field Management, Safety, and Quality: reviews and monitors project progress, quality and safety; enforces safety policies and quality requirements.
• Document Control: manages submittals, RFIs, drawings and specifications; handles expedites.
• Scheduling: plans, sequences and directs the project schedule; conducts job site meetings.
• Financial Management: manages project costs, invoicing, budgets, and cash flow; owner requisitions.
• Procurement and Commitments: develops procurement strategy; bids, evaluates, and awards subcontracts.
• Estimating: prepares detailed estimates and cost control systems.
• Project Lifecycle Management: monitors safety, scope, time and cost across the project life cycle.
• Project Team Leadership: leads and develops the project team; aligns with company values.
• Scope and Change Management: manages changes and owner acceptance; updates budgets.
• Risk Management: identifies and mitigates project risks.
• Subcontractor/Vendor Management: monitors performance and manages notices.
• Design Coordination: participates in design reviews and permits; tracks design costs.
• Client Relations: manages meetings, reports and client inquiries.
• Project Development: responds to RFPs and supports proposals.
• Staffing: establishes project organization and staffing needs.
• Personnel Development: mentoring and performance management.
• Travel as required.
• Other duties as needed.
