You will champion The Layton Way, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with subs, and lead risk assessments. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience in civil engineering or construction management.
• Eight+ years of project management experience in mission-critical construction projects.
• Strong ability to manage complex projects and lead teams.
• Proven communication and negotiation skills; ability to delegate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Leads project teams and delivers predictable outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversees project performance to ensure adherence to contract documents and owner expectations.
• Prepares estimates and project budgets; guides procurement and subcontracting decisions.
• Negotiates prime contracts and change orders, managing cost and profit impact.
• Develops and maintains the Project Management Plan (PMP) with the team.
• Coordinates final closeout, commissioning, and warranty processes.
• Ensures compliance with building codes, plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Holds post-completion reviews and shares data with estimating and marketing.
