Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex projects and supervise other Project Managers as needed. You’ll guide project teams, ensure adherence to contract documents, and deliver outcomes that exceed owner expectations.

You will champion the Layton Way, ensure Constructing with Integrity, and collaborate with the Senior Superintendent to strengthen client relationships. Responsibilities include budgeting, planning, and closeout coordination across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of project management experience.
• Strong history of leading ground-up high-rise multifamily/mixed use developments from inception through completion.
• Experience managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Champion The Layton Way for predictable outcomes.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to plans.
• Negotiate subcontractor change orders and manage costs.
• Prepare project budgets and PM plans.
• Coordinate closeout, permits, and final documentation.
