Layton Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex construction projects, supervise project teams, and ensure successful on-time, on-budget delivery. You will oversee planning, budgeting, and coordination with the Project Superintendent to meet owner expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum eight years of project management experience on complex construction projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to clients and internal teams.
• Experience with estimating concepts and change orders.
• Knowledge of building codes, design requirements, and contract language.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams, ensuring adherence to plans, schedules and budgets.
• Negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and change orders while protecting profitability.
• Prepare PMP and coordinate pre-construction activities.
• Monitor costs, safety, quality, and schedule performance on site.
• Maintain owner relations and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, codes, and company policies.
