Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex projects with responsibility for budgets, schedules, and team performance. You will guide project teams, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to plans while maintaining the Layton Way and Constructing with Integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of project management experience.
• Significant cast-in-place concrete experience for high-rise and mixed-use projects.
• Strong ability to manage complex projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Champions Layton Way to deliver predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers.
• Ensure Constructing with Integrity through honesty, unity, safety, and quality.
• Supervise project teams and provide guidance on project management techniques.
• Lead close collaboration with project superintendent to ensure successful delivery.
• Prepare project budgets, estimates, and change orders; manage costs.
• Coordinate subcontracting, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, and PMP.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment within budget.
• Conduct site visits to monitor quantity, cost, safety, quality and schedule.
• Close out projects with as-built drawings, punch lists, warranties and final reports.
• Perform post-completion reviews and provide data for Estimating and Marketing.
