Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to oversee project setup, implementation and execution through completion of construction and/or qualification.

You will assist senior leadership in establishing best practices and inform leaders of issues affecting client perception and firm reputation. The role requires extensive coordination with clients, facility management, and project staff, and may involve supervising junior staff while ensuring documentation and reports meet client

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years directly related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role.
• A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a project management capacity; 10+ years preferred.
• Experience within the construction industry required.
• History in client relations, client management, contract negotiations and consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the project strategy development with Directors and executes within the business unit of C&W and client.
• Manages overall project costs, schedule, risks and scope execution; develops charter and execution plan.
• Lead and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, develop and maintain master budgets and timelines.
• Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing reviews for clients and management at all project phases.
• Assist in selection/oversight of consultants and construction teams; integrate related C&W components.
• Review requisitions, change orders and invoices; advise the PM and facility management team.
• Directly participate in marketing and presentation of services to clients.
• Organizes people and resources; may supervise Project Managers, Space Planners, and CAD Operators.
• Provide documentation and reports to client and management.
• Cooperate with building/facility personnel to meet goals of quality, service, cost and profit.
• Report major problems with recommendations; obtain approvals for changes/expenditures.
• May establish goals with timetables; may hire/subordinate staff as needed.
