Job summary

Bouten Construction Company seeks a Senior Project Manager in Spokane, WA to lead multiple projects, uphold safety, quality, schedule, and budget goals, and mentor project teams. You will partner with clients, trade partners, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, preconstruction planning, and risk management experience with healthcare or similar commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred or relevant commercial general construction experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 6+ years of commercial construction experience, including at least two years of experience working on healthcare construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex commercial construction projects through preconstruction and construction.
• Experience with alternate project delivery methods, including GC/CM, Design-Build, and CMAR.
• Strong decision making and complex problem-solving skills.
• Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint), Procore, Timberline (Sage Intacct).

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction planning, master scheduling, risk management, and on-site execution.
• Mentor project teams and coordinate with clients, trade partners, and internal teams.
• Direct project execution to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and high quality.
• Oversee project documentation including logs, inspections, schedules, budgets, and procurement.
• Champion company processes and safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
