Bouten Construction Company in the Tri-Cities, WA, seeks a Superintendent for Special Projects in Healthcare/Commercial. You will lead field operations, safety, scheduling, budgeting, and staffing, coordinating with project teams and clients.

The role emphasizes safety culture, mentorship of foremen, and delivering high-quality results on projects typically in the $1M–$5M range, with relocation support and company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with an apprenticeship or equivalent.
• 5-10 years journeyman-level experience.
• 5-10 years’ experience as a commercial general construction superintendent.
• Healthcare, K-12, and higher education experience preferred; alternate delivery methods.
• Lean construction experience desired.
• Project size >$1M - $5M.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Diverse project experience.
• Detail-oriented and strong follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated and passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
• Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead the field operations and uphold Bouten’s Safety Culture.
• Manage small field projects, schedules, budgets, and staffing.
• Provide constructability reviews and site logistics.
• Perform safety audits and address safety concerns.
• Recruit and mentor Foreman and tradespeople.
• Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
• Ensure high-quality results on projects and timely delivery.
