Job summary

Abbott Construction in Seattle is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead project teams through all construction phases, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. You will drive pre-construction efforts, manage budgets, schedules and submittals, and align outcomes with Owner and Architect expectations.

The role requires a 4-year construction-related degree, 10+ years of PM experience, and demonstrated leadership to deliver multiple projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Must have strong negotiation and leadership abilities for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to motivate and develop the project team across phases.
• Understand accounting, financial statements, job cost and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team from conceptual phase to final completion and close out.
• Manage multiple teams to satisfy customer and company goals on each project.
• Lead pre-construction efforts for potential and secured work.
• Set up customer relationships ensuring safety, schedule and subcontractor select.
• Ensure projects are completed on or before contract completion date.
• Ensure projects conform to plans and specs approved by Owner/Architect/Engineers.
• Develop skills and competencies of project teams across all areas.
• Set clear customer expectations at start and meet or exceed them.
• Provide leadership and mentorship across project teams and related functions.
• Fully own project success and Abbott-customer relationship.
• Coordinate with Business Development and PX Team on estimates and proposals.
• Execute projects including goals, buyout, submittals, on-time deliveries and OAC meetings.
