Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in San Antonio, TX. You will lead projects up to $15 million, overseeing safety, budgets, schedules, and trade contractor coordination alongside the Superintendent to drive a high-performing project team.

You will review drawings, manage procurement, lead meetings, and ensure compliance with AP’s Incident and Injury Free culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field and 6+ years of project leadership.
• Proficiency with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, and project management software.
• Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Procore, Bluebeam and other construction programs a plus.
• Thorough experience with multiple contract types under CMR and Design-Build delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership throughout a project to ensure timely and quality results.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, and ASIs for project requirements.
• Prepare and update detailed construction schedules with the Superintendent.
• Lead project estimate reviews, start-up, interim, and close-out meetings.
• Manage project costs, budgets, and cash flow; maintain cost projections.
• Ensure timely submittal processes and processing of changes with owners and trade contractors.
