Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager in Brookings, SD. This role partners with the Superintendent to coordinate safety, budgets, contracts, schedules, and trade coordination on projects typically under $5 million.

You will ensure timely results, monitor master schedules, manage submittals, and support close-out activities while maintaining AP's Incident and Injury Free culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CM, architecture, or engineering with 2+ years PM experience.
• Or an associate degree with 4+ years PM experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Procore, P6, Bluebeam, Prolog.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety, budgets, contracts, schedules with the Superintendent/PM.
• Monitor submittals, RFI, ASI, and shop drawings for project.
• Manage material procurement, fabrication, delivery status and approvals.
• Assist with payment applications and project close-out procedures.
• Prepare project logs, meeting minutes, and risk assessments.
• Support with minority participation and estimating efforts.
