Job summary

Mullins Mechanical seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects across locations, ensuring budgets, schedules, and quality targets are met. The role involves coordinating with field teams, managing subcontracts, and maintaining client satisfaction while upholding safety standards and company procedures.

Responsibilities include developing project documentation, cost control, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• PMP, CCM, or an equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
• Design/Build experience would be considered an asset.
• OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR Training.
• Extensive work experience managing budgets for construction projects.
• Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
• Highly organized; proven leadership skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
• Understanding of construction management processes.
• Ability to collaborate and plan ahead.
• Familiarity with construction and project management software programs.

Responsibilities

• Development and management of all project documentation.
• Schedule and lead project hand-off meetings; gather information before construction.
• Prepare construction budgets and project cost budgets; verify cost codes.
• Obtain appropriate permits; finalize Schedule of Values.
• Build and manage the project schedule with field supervisors.
• Prepare and submit job number requests to accounting.
• Prepare electronic timesheets matching cost codes.
• Maintain project profitability via schedules and budgets; monthly job cost reporting.
• Develop subcontracts and purchase orders; negotiate terms.
• Contractually manage subcontractors; submit vendor forms to AP.
• Prepare material status logs; collect submittals and product samples.
• Prepare productivity tracking logs; review weld/inspection reports.
• Create PMIs and coordinate with construction team.
• Issue RFIs for information; prepare monthly billing/invoices.
• Submit receipts; resolve cost discrepancies; price changes in scope.
• Provide notices of delay; coordinate resources with PMs and superintendents.
• Assist with onboarding; ensure client satisfaction balancing scope/time/cost.
• Review time sheets; conduct employee reviews; manage safety and quality.
• Prepare safety/quality incident reports; submit HR forms.
• Approve invoices weekly; keep jobsite clean; update CRM tracking form.
