Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Austin, TX, seeks a Sr. Project Manager to oversee project setup, implementation, and execution through completion of construction and client projects.

The role involves leading meetings, budgeting, reporting, and coordinating with consultants and the client team; travel up to 30%. A strong background in engineering/construction management and client relations is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years directly related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role.
• A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a project management capacity; 10+ years is a bonus.
• Experience within the construction industry required.
• History in client relations, client management, contract negotiations and consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the project strategy development with Directors and executes within the unit and for the client.
• Manages overall project costs, schedule, risks and scope; develops charter and plan.
• Lead and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain budgets and timelines.
• Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing reviews for clients and management.
• Assist in selection and oversight of consultants and construction teams.
• Review requisitions, change orders and invoices; advise on expenditures.
• Directly participate in marketing and presentation of services to clients.
• Organizes people and resources; may supervise Project Managers, Space Planners, CAD Operators.
