Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in New York, NY seeks an experienced Project Manager for our construction division. This on-site role focuses on planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination across design and build teams to ensure project success.

The PM will manage budgets, schedules, and contract processes, while coordinating with architects, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver a quality, compliant project on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years of field project management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs.
• Experience managing budgets and schedules.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Chart out project objectives and plans while setting performance requirements.
• Oversee the construction project in every phase from conceptual design through completion.
• Begin project with preconstruction tasks including reading plans and specs, developing scope sheets, and assisting with leveling interviews and contractor qualifications.
• Assist the project executive in developing early budgets and schedules; manage the project budget and track expenses.
• Process and manage contracts, change orders, and assist in negotiating contracts; deliver project financial reporting.
• Prepare site Health and Safety Plans and ensure safety compliance; inspect jobsites for deficiencies and address issues with subs.
• Coordinate the efforts of all external stakeholders including architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and laborers.
• Monitor progress and hold regular status meetings; ensure documents are complete and accurate; review deliverables with clients.
