Job summary

Kushner Companies LLC in Eatontown, NJ is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead one or more residential construction projects. You will oversee planning, scheduling, cost tracking, safety, and completion, while mentoring on-site staff and subcontractors to deliver quality results on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include securing permits, maintaining schedules, coordinating subcontractors and inspectors, documenting progress, and enforcing safety programs across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Requires Engineering, Construction Management or related Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of related experience.
• Requires 10+ years of Stick-frame Multi-Family Residential Construction experience; sitework and structured garage experience preferred.
• Requires working knowledge of cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings and other documents.
• Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Must understand shop drawing submittal process and ability to read building plans and specs.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a structured corporate environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with high ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Secure required permits and approvals from jurisdictional agencies.
• Develop and maintain master and trade schedules (60-day look-ahead and two-week look-ahead).
• Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to complete projects on time.
• Communicate with and support subcontractors to execute duties effectively.
• Monitor quality control across project stages and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare daily logs, progress photos, and weekly project updates for stakeholders.
• Attend weekly meetings and maintain minutes; manage document control and RFIs.
• Assist in monthly status reporting to lenders.
