Job summary

Kushner in New Jersey seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead multi-family residential construction projects. The PM represents the Owner and GC, manages contracts, change orders, RFIs, schedules, budgets, punch lists, and daily site coordination to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role requires detail orientation, strong time management, effective written and verbal communication, and broad business acumen across subcontractors, consultants, and field personnel.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Requires 5+ years of experience in Stick frame Multi-Family Residential Construction.
• Knowledge of Revu Bluebeam/AutoCAD is a must.
• Working knowledge of construction disciplines, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations and engineering drawings.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills with internal teams and external consultants.
• Understanding of shop drawing submittal process and reading building plans.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preconstruction efforts including permitting, trade contract review, analysis, tracking & reporting.
• Manages all aspects of the project from inception to completion including CO process.
• Prepares and executes construction plans and schedules.
• Leads project field meetings, records minutes, and develops follow-up lists.
• Enforces safety on site and verifies task assignments against daily job sheets.
• Plans and tracks material delivery and scheduling with the superintendent.
• Reviews change order requests and provides periodic reporting to upper management.
• Creates delivery schedules using bar graphs or CPM and ensures shop items align with plans.
