Job summary

Kushner is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator/Manager to support one or more multifamily residential projects in New Jersey. You will assist with planning, scheduling, cost tracking, safety, and project completion, while leading with strong communication and organizational skills.

Candidates should have a related bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of stick-framed site experience. Expect weekdays and occasional Saturdays, with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Requires Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Study and understand plans, specs, blueprints, and submittals.
• Assist project coordination and support staff in distributing data and documents to the project team.
• Maintain field drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with project manager and superintendent on scheduling and activities.
• Maintain time-keeping and construction activity records.
• Coordinate information flow between field personnel, subs, and design team.
• Review subcontractor proposals and cost data as required.
• Monitor site activities and material receiving for quantity and quality.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and update construction schedule.
• Attend jobsite meetings and take meeting minutes.
• Maintain safety standards and quality per company policy.
• Close out projects per contract documents.
