Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Field Coordinator to support safety, quality, and compliance in capital projects within Power Delivery and Capital Projects. You will oversee construction activities, manage materials, coordinate outages, and supervise contract crews to ensure adherence to approved processes and safety guidelines.

The role requires extensive field knowledge of a working distribution system and collaboration with engineering and other departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years field transmission/distribution line/substation construction.
• 7+ years field experience with 3+ years supervisory.

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards and mitigate hazards on projects.
• Develop project scopes, estimates, construction sequences, and schedules.
• Coordinate material orders, deliveries, outage coordination and jobsite readiness.
• Lead internal and contract crews in electrical/mechanical tasks.
• Ensure work meets safety, quality, and company standards.
• Oversee energized switching and EWPs planning.
• Review outage plans to protect system reliability.
