Job summary

Mitrelli Group Services AG is seeking an on-site Project Lead in Angola to manage a portfolio of large civil engineering and infrastructure projects. The role requires coordinating professionals across disciplines, maintaining schedules, budgets and quality while ensuring safety and compliance with specifications.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years in large construction, and experience with authorities.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
10+ years’ experience in large full construction projects.
Experience in Buildings or Infrastructure; PM experience from contractor side highly valued.
Experience working with authorities and building strong relationships with local authorities.
Ability to read and work with REVIT, CAD drawings and BIM.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
Fluency in Portuguese and advanced level of English.
Must be willing to relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain complex engineering and construction schedules for large projects.
Coordinate a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals on time, cost, and quality.
Monitor start-up of new projects and track progress using action plans.
Oversee budgeting, reporting, HSE and quality across projects.
Manage contractors and supervision teams to ensure high professional standards.
