Job summary

The role emphasizes contractor-side expertise, contract management, and cross-cultural leadership across Africa. Portuguese fluency is mandatory, with English a strong asset for international coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree and PMP certification are desirable assets.
• Extensive senior-level infra project experience, including contractor-side work.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of civil infrastructure projects from planning to handover.
• Serve as liaison between Mitrelli, clients, contractors, consultants and government authorities.
• Oversee contract negotiation and management, including subcontractor agreements and claims.
• Direct on-site and off-site construction activities ensuring HSE and quality standards.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and resource plans aligned with goals.
• Mentor project managers, engineers, and technical staff to drive performance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks with contingency planning.
