Job summary

DPR Construction in California seeks a Senior Project Executive to provide executive leadership for multiple mid-size projects or a large complex program. You will guide project managers and senior teams to meet safety, quality, and financial goals while partnering with field leadership and clients.

You will escalate major risks, manage contracts, and oversee budgets and forecasts, strengthening client relations and delivering integrated, high-value outcomes across DPR’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in construction project management or operations
• Experience leading multiple mid-size projects or a large, complex project
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of multiple mid-size projects or a large project, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, quality and safety objectives.
• Direct and support project managers and teams, guiding on complex execution challenges and decision-making.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for risks, client concerns, contractual matters, and performance issues.
• Oversee project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cost controls, contract administration, and risk management.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, designers, support resources and key trade partners to enable collaboration and repeat work.
• Mentor and develop project leaders through coaching, feedback, and individualized development plans.
