Job summary

Granite Construction in The Woodlands, TX, is seeking a seasoned construction engineer to plan, develop, and manage onsite engineering activities for projects of varying size, ensuring quality and cost effectiveness.

You will build schedules, supervise project staff, and provide technical support in planning, design interpretation, and constructability reviews, while maintaining strong client communication and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years in construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with AGTEK Take-off and Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite construction engineering activities.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Provide technical support in planning, quality control, interpretation of design, and constructability reviews.
• Supervise and mentor project staff to meet standards.
