Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking an on-site Project Engineer to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage construction engineering activities for projects of varying size. You will ensure quality and cost effectiveness by controlling schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.

The role requires a Civil Engineering-related degree and 4+ years of construction experience, with proficiency in MS Office, AGTEK Take-off, and Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, AGTEK Take-off and Primavera Scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Manage job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Develop and maintain project schedule to ensure work is completed on time and under budget.
• Manage project engineering assignments to ensure work is completed on time and under budget.
• Provide technical support in construction planning, quality control, interpretation of design, and constructability reviews.
• Develop and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents.
