Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Construction Engineer to facilitate the successful delivery of projects by applying technical expertise and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. The role focuses on schedule, cost monitoring, quality, safety, and risk mitigation to ensure alignment with design specs and client goals.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in construction engineering, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years of construction engineering experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification or equivalent preferred; completion within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Review moderately complex technical aspects of projects and support safe execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Review construction drawings, submittals, and change orders for accuracy.
• Support project controls including schedule tracking and cost monitoring.
• Prepare and present progress reports and technical documentation.
• Identify and mitigate project risks through field analysis and engineering solutions.
• Mentor less experienced team members on safety and quality standards.
