DPR Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support successful delivery of construction projects, collaborating with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to meet requirements, timelines, and quality standards. You will gain hands-on field experience and contribute to efficient project execution.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering and 0–4 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 0–4 years of experience in construction engineering or related field.
• OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is preferred and OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assists in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project goals, while maintaining regular field presence to support safe work execution.
• Coordinates with project managers and project teams to address standard technical questions and resolve general project issues.
• Monitors standard project schedules and budgets, tracks labor productivity, and reports variances to support timely corrective actions based on established guidelines.
• Supports the implementation of standard quality assurance and safety protocols throughout all project phases.
• Prepares and maintains project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
• Identifies opportunities for incremental improvements and contributes to the development of leading practices with guidance.
• Participates in project meetings and communicates updates to team members and stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field
