Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a construction project engineer to facilitate the successful delivery of complex projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, architects, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with requirements, schedules, and stringent quality standards, while applying leading practices and methodologies.

With 4–6 years of experience in construction engineering, you will review drawings and submittals, monitor performance metrics, assist with risk mitigation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews moderately complex technical aspects of projects ensuring adherence to design specs and quality benchmarks while supporting safe execution.
• Coordinates with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges and maintain productivity.
• Reviews drawings, submittals, and change orders for accuracy and alignment with goals.
• Supports project controls including schedule tracking and cost monitoring.
• Prepares and presents progress reports and technical documentation.
• Identifies and mitigates risks through field analysis and engineering solutions.
