Job summary

BKF Engineers seeks an experienced Owner's professional representative for bridge, roadway and civil construction projects. You will ensure projects are built per contract documents and lead the project team in quality control, documentation and coordination with clients and agencies.

Ideal candidates have a California P.E. license and 7+ years of construction contract management on roadway or bridge projects, with CALTRANS/local agency knowledge and strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• California P.E. license required.
• 7+ years of construction contract management on road/bridge projects.
• Experience with CALTRANS/local agency and federally funded projects preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Works with field inspectors and project team to meet civil construction goals.
• Performs construction engineering duties on roadways and bridges.
• Responsible for project Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
• Manage staff and contract administration.
• Review change orders, shop drawings and testing results.
• Conduct weekly project meetings and coordinate utilities.
