Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• 10+ years of construction, design, or project management experience.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Field Management, Safety, and Quality: monitor progress, safety, and quality, enforce safety policies with subcontractors.
• Document Control: manage submittals, RFIs, drawings, and approvals to meet schedules.
• Scheduling: plan and update project schedules; lead site meetings and coordinate with subs.
• Financial Management: manage budgets, cash flow, invoicing, pay requisitions and payments.
• Procurement and Commitments: establish procurement strategy, bid packages, and subcontracting.
• Estimating and Cost Control: assists with cost estimates and monitoring costs.
• Project Lifecycle Management: monitor safety, scope, time, and cost across the project.
• Project Team Leadership: lead project team, delegate tasks, remove roadblocks.
• Scope and Change Management: manage changes and owner approvals; update budgets.
• Risk Management: identify and mitigate project risks.
• Subcontractor/Vendor Management: manage performance and terminations as needed.
• Design Coordination: coordinate with design reviews, permits and approvals.
• Client Relations: manage client communication, meetings, and reports.
• Project Development: respond to RFPs and assist proposals.
• Staffing: plan organization including superintendent and PCE requirements.
• Personnel Development: mentor and develop project personnel.
• Project Communications: establish and maintain communications plans.
