Job summary

MGAC is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager (Project Controls) in San Francisco to lead complex projects, own budgets and schedules, and report progress. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors, and ensure risk and quality controls across the lifecycle.

The role requires 7+ years in construction PM and project controls, with experience in interiors, base building, healthcare, life sciences, or ground-up work. On-site 4–5 days/week per client needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on construction project management and controls experience.
• Background in interiors, base building, renovations, healthcare, life sciences, or ground-up work.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture/Business or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, monitoring and closeout.
• Act as extension of the client team; own the project and coordinate with consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Manage multi-stakeholder logistics, approvals, and site constraints to maintain schedules.
• Oversee project controls: baseline schedule, cost estimating, cash flow, change orders.
• Ensure open-book transparency on contracts, exposures, commitments, and invoicing.
