Job summary

Williams Companies seeks a senior Construction Project Manager to lead major energy infrastructure projects, focusing on safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will oversee front-end development, planning, design, and contractor selection, and drive construction execution per contract terms across teams.

Candidates should have 12+ years in power/energy construction, strong QA/QC, earned value and Primavera P6 knowledge, and be willing to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in construction, inspection, or commissioning of energy projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Science preferred (15+ years for related pipelines/stations).
• Up to 75% travel.
• Knowledge of ASME, DOT, API, OSHA, and AWS inspection procedures.
• Experience with earned value, schedule of values, and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all construction-related activities including front-end development, planning, design and engineering, construction bid package development, bidding and contractor selection, construction kickoff, etc.
• Reviews scopes of work, schedules, cost estimates, drawings, execution plans, and contracts during project development; identifies risks and suggests mitigation strategies.
• Provides support, direction, and leadership to project construction teams; holds team accountable that all work is completed according to construction specifications, procedures, and standards.
• Provides input on contracting strategy and is heavily involved in contractor selection, qualification process, capabilities assessments, and vetting of key contractor personnel.
• Establishes ongoing working relationships with construction departments to ensure interface processes are working properly; collaborates to resolve problems or issues when they arise.
