Job summary

Williams in Tulsa seeks a Manager of Construction to lead planning, execution, and oversight of natural gas infrastructure megaprojects. You will manage a team of construction managers, inspectors, and support staff, collaborating with PM, operations, safety, asset integrity, and more.

The role requires 12+ years in construction/inspection/commissioning in energy projects, a bachelor's degree preferred, and up to 75% travel.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED; 12+ years in construction, inspection, or commissioning in oil & gas or energy infra.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Engineering/Construction Science with 15+ years in natural gas projects.
• Up to 75% travel.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and safety priority.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all construction activities from front-end planning to contractor selection.
• Review scopes, schedules, cost estimates, drawings, and contracts for risk and mitigation.
• Provide leadership to project construction teams and ensure quality and compliance.
• Lead contractor qualification, vetting, and selection processes.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to resolve interface issues.
• Support QA/QC program implementation and ensure contract adherence.
• Plan workforce and career development; delegate tasks.
