Project Manager Senior/Staff – Williams

As a Project Manager Senior/Staff you define how complex initiatives are executed across the organization, combining technical mastery with strategic vision to deliver results that directly impact business performance. You will lead multiple large‑scale power infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, profitability, and alignment with corporate strategy.

Responsibilities / Expectations
  • Lead a team to implement complex project plans or programs, coordinating with internal and external partners.
  • Manage power infrastructure projects from concept through completion, with accountability for scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Apply engineering and construction standards to design and integrate power generation systems, high‑voltage technologies, and control systems.
  • Align project objectives with corporate strategy, evaluating economic impacts to maximize reliability and profitability.
  • Build trust for seamless coordination across internal teams and external partners, including Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
  • Anticipate risks with forward‑thinking alternatives and make decisive calls to quickly resolve technical, contractual, and regulatory challenges.
  • Set up the core project team to facilitate achievement of the project objective.
  • Coordinate key functions with technical resources under the guidance of Project Life Cycle.
  • Develop and implement project reports, presentations, schedules, and costing forecasts.
  • Present and implement recommendations supported by sound engineering to support reliability targets and reduce inherent risks.
  • Prepare, review, and approve requests for proposals, evaluations, and contractor selection.
  • Understand the economic impact of the project to drive solutions.
  • Gather information, assess opportunities, analyze alternative solutions, and make important decisions.
  • Develop optimum project solutions that improve economic profit over the project life cycle.
  • Run moderate‑to‑large projects with high quality and a focus on business partners.
  • Lead project teams and contractors; be accountable for producing results and meeting deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Education and Experience – Staff Level
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 15 years’ experience in oil and gas engineering or project management.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction management, Master’s degree in business, project management or engineering management, PMP, PE, and Microsoft Specialist Project Certification (MS).
Education and Experience – Senior Level
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 10 years’ experience in oil and gas engineering or project management.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction management, Master’s degree in business, project management or engineering management, PMP or PE.
Travel Requirements

Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Other Requirements
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Safety is the utmost priority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.
  • Solid understanding of PLC/Stage‑Gate processes.
  • Extensive experience with facility construction or operations in the oil and gas industry.
  • Preferred: Experience with EPC in Power Generation/Data Centers.
