Job summary

Williams Companies in Tulsa/ Houston area is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead the planning, coordination and execution of natural gas pipeline and related projects, with safety as the highest priority and onsite leadership of our inspection teams.

The role demands front end planning, estimate development, contracting strategy input, and oversight of contractor schedules, cost and QA/QC processes, with up to 75% travel and a focus on delivering safe, reliable energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma/GED; minimum of eight (8) years’ related experience with five (5) years’ experience on large projects (greater $50M)
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management

Responsibilities

• Accounts for front end construction planning, estimate development, analysis and contract management
• Provides input in QA/QC staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management and liaison activities with our business partners
• Provides input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection
• Reviews contractor schedules, execution plans, and extra work claims
• Develops and runs construction progress reporting; leads construction closeout
• Performs audits of inspection processes and documentation requirements
• Anticipates and proactively addresses potential issues and claims
• Provides onsite leadership to our inspection team
• Other duties as assigned
