Job summary

Kraus-Anderson, a leading construction firm, seeks a seasoned Construction Management professional to direct, oversee and coordinate a project team in the CMA arena. You will work with owners, architects, and planning teams from preconstruction through completion, ensuring budgets, schedules and client expectations are met.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field and at least 10 years of experience, with strong MS Office and ViewPoint skills, and excellent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; four-year college/university
• Minimum of 10 years related work experience
• Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) and knowledge of project management software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
• Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic and uphold company values

Responsibilities

• Direct, oversee and coordinate activities of the team in the Construction Management and General Contracting marketplace
• Assist in proposal writing, review project proposal, drawings and plans to determine time frame and staffing requirements
• Coordinate pre-construction services for projects
• Lead business development and client relations initiatives
• Review project activities, costs and forecast data to track progress toward goals
• Guide project managers and ensure timely completion and profitability
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners to sustain KA’s image and growth
• Coordinate with Marketing to promote KA capabilities and generate leads
