Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to independently manage ground-up construction and remodel projects across multiple states from Marlborough, MA. This hands-on role involves site visits, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with GC's, architects, and engineers to deliver projects on time and within scope.

You will travel up to 50%, report to senior leadership, and own project outcomes with limited internal support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction or project-management experience.
• Direct responsibility for ground-up projects and remodels from preconstruction through closeout.
• Experience with multi-site retail, automotive service, convenience stores, car washes, restaurants, dealerships, or similar prototype-driven locations.
• Practical permitting, utilities, inspections, and local authorities.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, contracts, change orders, and contractor performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage ground-up construction and remodels from preconstruction through turnover and closeout.
• Coordinate site diligence, design, permitting, utilities, inspections, and municipal approvals.
• Build and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and status reporting.
• Select, negotiate with, and manage general contractors, architects, engineers, and specialty vendors.
• Review bids, scopes, contracts, change orders, invoices, and project documentation.
• Visit active sites to monitor progress, safety, workmanship, risks, and operational readiness.
• Resolve field, permitting, contractor, and schedule issues independently.
• Coordinate with real estate, development, operations, and executive leadership.
• Manage several projects in different stages and jurisdictions.
